One discount per account, used once. It’s bound to the Google account you apply with — check out with that account. Deleting your account and signing up again doesn’t reset it.
Use it within 7 days of approval on one new order: a new plan (monthly or yearly) or a credit pack.
It applies once. Renewals, upgrades and plan changes are billed at the normal price.
Already subscribed? Use it on a credit pack — upgrades and billing-period changes aren’t discounted.
On a yearly plan the 20% comes off the full first year — the biggest saving you can get.
Started a checkout before approval? Just choose your plan again — we’ll open a new, discounted checkout.
A refunded order gets 90% of what you actually paid back; the education discount is not restored.
If your application isn’t approved, or your approved discount expires unused, you can apply again — up to 3 applications per account.

One purpose only. Your images are used only to confirm that you’re a student, educator or researcher — nothing else.
Never used for AI training. Never shared with third parties and never shown publicly.
Private storage. Files are stored privately and encrypted in transit and at rest; only our reviewers can open them.
Images deleted after review. We delete the images within 30 days of our decision. Your name, institution, status and the review outcome and date stay with your account as the record of your discount. If you delete your account, they’re deleted too — we keep only an irreversible marker that the email address has already used the education discount.
