## Illustration

Turn text, sketches, reference images, PDFs or photos into scientific illustrations. Refine a selected region, correct labels, adjust colors and continue in Vector Canvas. Illustration supports text, sketches, reference images, PDFs, photos and refinement of existing images. Use AI to revise text, regions, colors and layout; convert an image to SVG separately to edit vector objects in Canvas.

PNG, JPG, SVG and PPTX through the Figure Editor; SVG conversion and upscaling are separate steps.

## DataChart

Import CSV, TSV, TXT or Excel tables in DataChart, choose chart types, and adjust labels, axes and styling. DataChart plans charts with AI and calculates and renders from your actual table data. Choose from 46 native chart types, inspect statistical results and download Python code. Customize 9 discrete palettes, 14 continuous color maps, journal styles and multi-panel layouts. 33 eligible chart types support conversion to editable Excel charts. SVG conversion for editing in Canvas is a separate credit-based step.

DataChart: PNG, PDF, EPS, TIFF and Python code. Eligible paid plans can convert a result to SVG for editing in Canvas; conversion uses credits.

## FlowChart

FlowChart offers 144 templates across 4 families. Create native SVG diagrams and edit text, shapes, connectors and layout manually or with AI.

SVG, source SVG, PNG, JPG and PPTX. In PPTX, graphics and lines form a background image; qualifying text can be editable.

## Edit and refine

Check scientific meaning, labels, units, relationships and visual clarity. Illustration includes regional edits, text and color changes, white backgrounds, enhancement, upscaling and Vector Canvas.
