What are scientific figure templates?

Scientific figure templates are publication-ready, fully editable starting points for research figures. With SciFig you generate each one from a plain-language prompt, then relabel and restyle it for your own paper, poster, or slides.

How do I use a SciFig template?

Pick a template that matches the figure you need, describe your version in plain language, and SciFig generates it in seconds. Open it in the editor to swap labels, adjust colors, and finish a publication-ready figure.

Are SciFig's figure templates free to use?

New accounts start with free credits, so you can generate and download without paying upfront. After that, pay-as-you-go credit packs and subscription plans cover higher volumes — see the pricing page for current rates.

Which research disciplines are covered?

SciFig templates span 17 research disciplines, including Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, Botany, Cell Biology, Endocrinology, Entomology, Genetics, Immunology, Lab Techniques, Medicine, Microbiology, Nanotechnology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Research Methods, and Tutorials, with new fields added regularly.

Can I edit and customize a template?

Yes. Every template is fully editable — change labels, colors, layout, and components in the SciFig editor, ready for journals, posters, and presentations.
